The Night Life

You do not sleep for twenty Hours. You feel dizzy. You want to close your eyes and drown off in the floating fortress of your mind. You move your neck. It is stiff. You momentarily close your eyes and when you open them, the world is different. Suddenly, the RGB concentration seems indifferent. The world appears red, sometimes blue and sometimes green. You are riding a horse. It makes you shake and you cannot focus on the screen of your laptop in front of you. You are rocking in the saddle and oops, the horse gives you a jerk and you fall down. You want to cry but the voice is gone. You try and keep your eyes open, but they force themselves shut. You close your eyes out of hope.

You are falling, in a deep well. The well will take you to the centre of the earth or perhaps to the other face. You pop out of the well and find yourself in the table tennis room. Two players, their face plane skin, play with flawlessness. You see the ball going from left to right and then from right to left. This goes on and on. You want to play, but you are not there and suddenly, you are on a sinking ship. The ship is going down and you know that you cannot escape. You find the highest point, but eventually, you go inside. You gasp for breath. You do not know how to swim. You begin choking. Then is when you open your eyes and still find the same old laptop screen. This was just a sign of the war to come.

The pretty girl in the movie seems a monster. You cannot keep track of the dialogues. The women seem to sound like men and the men like women. The children get invisible. You are scared that you are crazy. You think that you are mad and you need a doctor. A doctor appears in the window. The doctor asks you if you have fever. You answer in the negative. The doctor then touches the palm of the girl and gives her medicine. He does not talk to you anymore. He is mean. You talk to the woman. She is sympathetic. She talks to you and helps you find ice cream at 4 am in the morning. You move the cursor to know the time.

The time shows another twenty minutes. That will be over in a blink of an eye. Unaware, you blink your eye, but they never open. They open at ten in the morning. Your class has been missed.
